Our wines
Serge Verboven has harbored a deep-rooted passion for refined wines for quite some time. It's no coincidence that Marcel's wine list has been lauded with prestigious awards and distinctions multiple times. Since 2019, we have been delighted with the recognition from Wine Spectator, who awarded our wine selection with two glasses. Star Wine List and World of Fine Wines have also discovered and appreciated our wine list.
With more than 700 carefully chosen references, our wine list sketches a rich palette of flavors and traditions. The emphasis is on classic wine regions such as Burgundy, Bordeaux, Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Piemonte, and Tuscany. But we certainly do not forget to also give a platform to some more exotic appellations. Our wines are fairly priced, with a nice selection of wines offered at a maximum price of € 65. In addition, about forty wines are available by the glass, for those who like to experience an adventurous wine journey.
Beyond the quality of the wine itself, we also attach great importance to the experience of drinking. Our top wines are invariably presented in Grassl glasses, which elevate the taste experience to a higher level. Our sommelier Jon Stalmans, with his years of experience, is always ready to guide you on this exploration journey through the rich landscape of wines that Marcel has to offer.
